Risk Assessment

A central requirement of the Management of Health and Safety Regulations is the carrying out of a ‘suitable and sufficient’ risk assessment in order to determine what risks exist and what measures are needed to combat health and safety risks.

is a term used to describe the overall process or method where you:
Identify hazards and risk factors that have the potential to cause harm (hazard identification). Analyse and evaluate the risk associated with that hazard (risk analysis, and risk evaluation).
